Three factories. One tobacco man's favourite Honduran leaf. Oscar Valladares handed his best Honduran tobacco to two rival factories and asked each to blend it their own way, then blended the third himself. What came back are three 6 x 52 toros that taste nothing like each other.
Casa Carrillo, Dominican Republic. A US grown Connecticut habano wrapper over a Sumatra binder, with Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers underneath. The most refined of the three.
Oliva, TABOLISA factory. Cameroon on the outside AND as the binder, which is rare and expensive, over Honduran and Nicaraguan filler. If you chase Cameroon, start here.
Oscar Valladares, Danli, Honduras. Oscar's own answer. Ecuadorian habano wrapper over Honduran binder and filler, the purest expression of the tobacco the whole project was built around.
Each blend is limited to 1,500 boxes worldwide, 30,000 cigars across all three. When they are gone there is no reorder.
Available as singles, 20 count boxes, and a three pack with one of each so you can taste all three side by side.
