L'Atelier is produced by the Garcia family and blended by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje. Created by Pete and his friends Dan, K.C. and Sean, the company's goal is to make premium cigars that are "consumer price conscious" and that raise the expectations of cigar smokers at every level of experience.
The flagship line, L'Atelier, is made at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua with a new wrapper grown in Ecuador by the Oliva family. The wrapper, Sancti Spiritus, is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro, "the lost seed of Cuba". L'Atelier is the first cigar to use this wrapper, and the blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos within is specifically designed to accent Sancti Spiritus and to give this cigar a medium to medium-full body with full flavor.
