An up-and-coming boutique label that's making a lot of tasty waves in the cigar industry, Emilio cigars are produced in Esteli, Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez for Gary Griffith. The Emilio AF2, thanks to its Nicaraguan binder and filler, touch of Pennsylvania ligero and a surprisingly light-colored Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, is a medium/full bodied and full-flavored treat of a cigar. Excellent flavors of sweet leather, dark fruit, dark chocolate, cinnamon, toffee and spicy black pepper, as well as an interested marshmallow note, can be found throughout this slow-burner.
