An extension to AJ's wildly popular New Wave line (Cigar Journal's 2014 cigar of the year), New World Connecticut uses fillers from Brazil and Nicaragua, a Mexican San Andres binder and a US-grown Connecticut shade wrapper, and it comes traditionally round (not box-pressed). First seen in very limited numbers as a bonus event cigar, this is now a full-production release. Sweet with flavors of cream, cedar, berry, nut, floral, orange and chocolate, with secondary notes of sourdough, earth, salt, herb and oak, can be found throughout this medium-bodied cigar (the strength of which is much in line with the original release). Expect more great awards to be heaped upon this brand!
