Samuel Gawith Black XX Finest Kendal Twist (50 Grams) - For over two centuries in the mountainous Lake District of Cumbria, the generations of Gawith blenders and spinners have been producing famous Kendal Twists. Pipe smokers have savored the rich flavours and slow burning characteristics of the thick Brown No.4 and Black XX. The Brown No. 4, a thick twist, does not undergo any heat treatment and has full tar and nicotine content of the tobacco. The Black XX, an extra thick twist, undergoes heat treatment that creates the black colour and less tar and nicotine.
