The H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez Finca La Lilia 2009 is a full-bodied toro created by master cigar crafter AJ Fernandez for Altadis USA. It is handcrafted in Nicaragua using higher priming tobacco from a 2009 crop at AJ Fernandez’s Finca La Lilia farm, which was named after Fernandez’s grandmother. The Finca La Lilia 2009 sports a beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper that is expertly placed over a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder, which contains a blended filler made of Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 and Dominican Republic Piloto Cubano tobaccos. This premium cigar has a complexity of flavors that must be tried to be believed. The H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez Finca La Lilia 2009 is a limited-edition cigar only 3,750 boxes of 20 cigars per box were made.
