The Raices Cubanas factory, owned by Romay, Maria and Hugo Endemano, has produced a string of award-winning cigars not just for Alec Bradley for but Illusione, Viaje, and other industry heavy hitters. Finally they've released a cigar under their own name, blended with the help of, and distributed by, Alec Bradley.

Introduced at IPCPR 2013, Raices Cubanas features a dark brown Honduran wrapper over a binder and filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco, all of which combine to give the smoker a medium-to-full bodied platform filled with delectable notes of earth, toffee, leather, pepper, cream and a unique oat/wheat-type grain flavor. This cigar - absolutely one of the best released in 2013 - is a fitting tribute to the talented folks who pour their heart and soul into blending tobacco, and the factory where they ply their craft.
