The chosen vitola for this release is a 6 1/2 x 50/60 Salomon that's stuffed to the brim with premium tobaccos harvested from the company's 2006 crop - an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, a Brazilian binder, and longfiller tobaccos from Nicaragua, Brazil and the Dominican Republic. Blended to be a complex cigar, bread, sweet honey, leather, pear, earth, lemon, graham, cinnamon, salted sunflower seed, coffee, and spicy pepper notes can be found throughout, and there's a satisfying, distinctly floral finish towards the end. As with past Puro Vintage releases, the 2006 is a stunning cigar to smoke right now and a true example of mastery over the craft of blending, but it displays the qualities of a cigar that will blossom down the road... So, if you're the type of patient smoker who likes to purchase cigars with an eye towards putting them down for an extended rest, you'll want to grab at least a few extra of these!
